RTD Installation Overview
The process is simple and requires no shop visit:
- Install the RTD Flasher software on a Windows laptop.
- Connect the RTD/RTD+ device to your Mustangs OBD-II port and your laptop via USB.
- Read and save your stock file, then email it to 5 Star Tuning.
- Download your custom tunes once received.
- License your vehicle through the RTD software, then flash the new tune following on-screen prompts.
Note: A stable Wi-Fi connection and Windows laptop are required. Average installation takes only minutes.
