What the SCT X4 Can Do

Custom Tuning Process
- Order your SCT X4 and select your tunes online or by phone. Provide vehicle info and ECU strategy code.
- If your ECU calibration is current, we build your tune immediately. If not, a blank device ships so you can pull the latest codes.
- Connect the SCT X4 to your GT500s OBD-II port, retrieve your ECU Strategy/ECU SWPN, and email it to 5 Star Tuning.
- Once created, your custom tunes will be emailed to you. Load them onto your X4 and flash your vehicle by following the on-screen prompts.
Installation Time
The process takes only 510 minutes and requires no tools. Anyone can complete the installation.

- Windows OS required: SCT software is compatible only with Microsoft Windows.
- Wi-Fi supported: The SCT BDX device supports custom tuning via Wi-Fi as an alternative.
- Emissions compliance: By purchasing, you agree to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. 5 Star Tuning does not disable or bypass emissions equipment (O2 sensors, DPF, EGR, SCR, etc.).
