The Vortech Superchargers 2.5-Bar MAP Sensor (PN 5A002-061) is designed for use with Vortech supercharger systems developed for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86 platforms. This sensor provides manifold absolute pressure capability beyond the range of a factory 1-bar sensor, supporting accurate pressure monitoring in boosted applications.
When paired with compatible ECU calibration, this 2.5-bar MAP sensor supplies the engine management system with the pressure data required for proper fueling and ignition control under boost.
Purpose & Function
