Custom Tuning Process
- Order your SCT BDX and submit vehicle details/tune preferences.
- If your ECU code matches Fords latest calibration, we build your tune immediately. If not, youll receive a blank device to read your strategy code.
- Plug the BDX into your trucks OBD-II port, select Vehicle Info, and record your ECU strategy/SWPN code.
- Email the code(s) to 5 Star Tuning.
- Your custom tunes are delivered via email/Google Drive. Download them to your BDX.
- Plug the BDX into your OBD-II port, select Program Vehicle, and follow on-screen prompts to flash your tune.
Install time: about 510 minutes. No tools required.
