The Vortech Supercharger System (PN 4GX218-150L) is a universal, budget-minded supercharging solution engineered for GM LS swap applications utilizing LS1/LS2-style intake manifolds and the LS Truck Front Engine Accessory Drive (FEAD). Designed for EFI-equipped Chevrolet LS engines, this system delivers Vortech's proven centrifugal performance in a clean, single-belt configuration ideal for street/strip, pro-touring, drift, and custom swap builds.
At the heart of the system is Vortech's V-3 SCi-Trim centrifugal supercharger, paired with rigid billet and steel mounting hardware and mandrel-bent aluminum discharge tubing. On an otherwise stock engine, the supplied pulley combination is capable of producing approximately 6-8 psi at redline, depending on engine displacement and exhaust configuration.
V-3 SCi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-3 SCi-Trim features Vortech's self-contained oiling system, eliminating the need for external oil lines while maintaining excellent durability and efficiency. Developed through extensive testing in Vortech's supercharger lab, the SCi platform provides strong mid-range response, smooth power delivery, and reliable performance for LS-based swap applications.
