The Vortech Superchargers V-3 Si-Trim Tuner Kit (PN 4GT218-118L) is engineered specifically for 2016-2018 Chevrolet Camaro SS models equipped with the 6.2L LT1 engine. Finished in a high-visibility polished supercharger housing, this tuner kit is designed for enthusiasts and builders pursuing custom calibration, upgraded fuel systems, and higher horsepower potential.
At the heart of the system is Vortech's proven V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger. Developed through extensive in-house testing, the advanced compressor stage and patented oil control system deliver an industry-leading 78% peak adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723), reducing heat generation, parasitic drag, and long-term component wear while maximizing usable power.
Why a Tuner Kit?
This configuration is intended for custom-tuned applications and therefore does not include a MAP sensor or ECU programmer. This allows complete control over calibration strategy, injector selection, and fuel system design. When paired with the proper supporting modifications, the included V-3 Si-Trim supercharger is capable of supporting up to 775 horsepower on modified engines, with a straightforward upgrade path to larger Vortech head units for extreme builds.
