Satin V-7 YSi 50mm Cog-Drive Tuner Supercharger Kit for Carbureted SBC
The Vortech Superchargers Tuner Kit (PN 4GP218-060YSi) is a race-focused centrifugal supercharger system engineered for carbureted Small Block Chevrolet engines requiring maximum belt control and extreme power capability. Centered around Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi compressor and a 50mm cog drive, this kit is built for high-RPM, high-boost applications where traditional belt drives can become a limitation.
This configuration is a true tuner kit. It is intended for experienced builders running aftermarket EFI, custom carburetor hats/bonnets, or alternate induction solutions. As supplied, it does not include a carburetor enclosure box, allowing full flexibility for custom fueling and intake layouts.
V-7 YSi Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi is Vortech's highest-capacity centrifugal supercharger, featuring a heavy-duty gear set and an advanced compressor stage developed in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant test cell. With up to 78% peak adiabatic efficiency, the YSi produces massive airflow while minimizing heat generation - translating directly into durability, consistency, and top-end power.
With the proper engine internals, fuel system, and professional calibration, the V-7 YSi is capable of supporting applications approaching 1,200 horsepower.
50mm Cog Drive for Extreme Power Control
This tuner kit utilizes a 50mm cog-drive system designed specifically for high-boost racing environments. Cog drive eliminates belt slip under extreme load, making it ideal for aggressive pulley ratios, sustained high RPM operation, and competitive motorsports use.
