The Vortech Superchargers Tuner Kit (PN 4GP218-048SQ) is a high-performance universal supercharging solution designed for carbureted Small Block Chevrolet engines. Featuring the proven V-2 Si centrifugal supercharger in a show-quality polished finish, this tuner kit delivers exceptional airflow, efficiency, and durability while giving builders maximum flexibility for custom fuel and induction setups.
This configuration is intended for experienced enthusiasts and engine builders running aftermarket EFI systems or alternate carburetor hats, bonnets, or enclosures. As a true tuner kit, it does not include the Vortech Maxflow Carburetor Enclosure Box, allowing you to tailor the system to your exact performance goals.
V-2 Si Supercharger Technology
The V-2 Si supercharger utilizes a precision helical gear-driven design and Vortech's advanced compressor aerodynamics developed in their SAE J1723-compliant test cell. With a peak 78% adiabatic efficiency, the V-2 Si generates less heat, requires less drive power, and produces more usable horsepower compared to lower-efficiency designs.
The V-2 Si is capable of supporting applications up to approximately 775 horsepower when paired with proper engine internals, fuel delivery, and tuning.

- Horsepower Gains: Approximately 30% to more than 75% (application dependent)
- Typical Boost: ~8-10 psi at 5,500 RPM on a mildly modified 350ci engine
- Maximum Capability: Up to ~775 HP with proper supporting modifications
Tuner Kit Configuration
This tuner kit is designed for maximum customization and does not include a carburetor enclosure box. It is ideal for:
- Aftermarket EFI conversions
- Custom carburetor hats or bonnets
- Optional Vortech Maxflow Carburetor Enclosure Box (sold separately)
