The Vortech Superchargers Complete Supercharging System (PN 4GP218-038SQ) is a revised, universal bolt-on solution designed specifically for carbureted Small Block Chevrolet engines. Featuring the highly efficient V-2 Si centrifugal supercharger with a show-quality polished finish, this system delivers strong, reliable boost with excellent drivability and long-term durability.
With continual development in Vortech's supercharger test lab, the V-2 Si compressor achieves peak adiabatic efficiency of up to 78% (SAE J1723). Higher efficiency means less heat generation, reduced parasitic loss, and more usable power - making this system ideal for classic muscle cars and performance builds seeking a proven, carbureted boost solution.
V-2 Si Supercharger Technology
The V-2 Si utilizes a precision helical gear set and advanced impeller design to deliver smooth, efficient airflow across a wide RPM range. Rated to support applications up to approximately 775 horsepower, it provides an excellent balance of performance, reliability, and street/strip versatility for carbureted SBC combinations.

Carbureted System Design
This complete system includes a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure engineered to properly pressurize float bowls and throttle shafts for consistent fuel delivery under boost. The enclosure is compatible with:
- Holley 4150
- Quick Fuel Q-750-BAN
- Demon 750 MD
The enclosure features front and rear -8 AN fuel inlet ports, multiple vacuum/pressure reference locations, and includes linkage arms, a splined shaft, left- and right-hand spherical rod ends, and carburetor studs for straightforward throttle hookup and adjustment.
