The Vortech Superchargers Complete Supercharging System (PN 4GP218-030YSi) is a revised, universal bolt-on package engineered for carbureted Small Block Chevrolet engines targeting extreme horsepower levels. Built around Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi centrifugal supercharger, this system is intended for serious street/strip and competition builds where maximum airflow, durability, and efficiency are required.
Designed with improved application flexibility and increased mounting rigidity, this complete system integrates cleanly with OEM-style accessory drives. Depending on boost level, engine efficiency, and supporting modifications, users can expect horsepower gains ranging from approximately 30% to more than 75%.
V-7 YSi Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi utilizes a heavy-duty gear set and an advanced compressor stage developed through continual testing in Vortech's supercharger lab. These compressors achieve peak adiabatic efficiency approaching 78% (SAE J1723), generating more usable airflow with less heat and reduced drive power compared to traditional blower designs.

Carbureted System Design
This complete system includes a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure engineered to properly pressurize float bowls and throttle shafts for consistent fuel delivery and throttle response under boost. The enclosure is compatible with the following carburetors:
- Holley 4150
- Quick Fuel Q-750-BAN
- Demon 750 MD
The enclosure features front and rear -8 AN fuel inlet ports, multiple pressure and vacuum reference locations, and includes linkage arms, a splined shaft, left- and right-hand spherical rod ends, and carburetor studs for straightforward throttle connection and adjustment.
