The Vortech Superchargers Complete Supercharging System (PN 4GP218-030T) is a revised, universal bolt-on solution engineered for carbureted Small Block Chevrolet engines. This configuration features Vortech's V-1 H/D Ti centrifugal supercharger with a heavy-duty, straight-cut gear set, delivering exceptional durability and airflow capacity for higher-horsepower carbureted builds.
Designed for improved application flexibility and increased mounting rigidity, this complete system integrates cleanly with OEM-style accessory drives. Depending on boost level, engine efficiency, and supporting modifications, users can expect horsepower gains ranging from approximately 30% to more than 75%.
V-1 H/D Ti Supercharger Technology
The V-1 H/D Ti utilizes a robust straight-cut gear drive intended for aggressive street/strip and race-oriented applications. Developed through continual testing in Vortech's supercharger lab, this platform benefits from the same advanced compressor design that allows Vortech units to achieve peak adiabatic efficiency approaching 78% (SAE J1723), resulting in reduced heat generation, lower drive power requirements, and increased net output.
This heavy-duty design translates into long-term reliability under sustained boost and higher RPM operation.

Carbureted System Design
This complete system includes a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure engineered to properly pressurize float bowls and throttle shafts for seamless drivability under boost. The enclosure is compatible with popular carburetors, including:
- Holley 4150
- Quick Fuel Q-750-BAN
- Demon 750 MD
The enclosure features front and rear -8 AN fuel inlet ports, multiple pressure and vacuum reference locations, and includes linkage arms, a splined shaft, spherical rod ends, and carburetor studs for straightforward throttle connection and adjustment.
