The Vortech Superchargers Complete Supercharging System (PN 4GP218-030SQ) is a revised, universal bolt-on solution engineered specifically for carbureted Small Block Chevrolet engines. Built around Vortech's ultra-efficient V-2 Si centrifugal supercharger, this system delivers substantial power gains with excellent durability, making it an ideal upgrade for classic muscle cars, hot rods, and custom SBC builds.
This complete system is designed to integrate cleanly with existing OEM-style drive configurations while improving bracket rigidity and overall installation flexibility. Depending on boost level, engine efficiency, and supporting modifications, users can expect horsepower gains ranging from 30% to more than 75%.
V-2 Si Supercharger Technology
The V-2 Si features Vortech's advanced "Si" (improved) compressor design, developed through continual testing in Vortech's supercharger lab. With a peak adiabatic efficiency of up to 78% (SAE J1723), the V-2 Si produces more usable airflow with less heat and reduced drive power compared to traditional blower designs.
This high efficiency not only improves power output, but also enhances long-term durability and reliability under sustained boost.

Carbureted System Design
This system includes a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure designed to properly pressurize the carburetor float bowls and throttle shafts for seamless drivability under boost. The enclosure is compatible with popular carburetors including:
- Holley 4150
- Quick Fuel Q-750-BAN
- Demon 750 MD
The enclosure features front and rear -8 AN fuel inlet ports, multiple pressure/vacuum reference ports, and includes linkage arms, splined shaft, spherical rod ends, and carburetor studs for simplified throttle connection and adjustment.
