The Vortech Superchargers V-7 YSi Tuner Kit (PN 4GE218-158) is built for extreme, competition-focused applications on 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS models equipped with the 6.2L LS3 (manual) or L99 (automatic). Featuring a show-quality polished finish, this tuner kit is engineered for high-boost, high-RPM combinations where belt slip cannot be tolerated and maximum airflow is required.
This configuration pairs Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi-Trim centrifugal supercharger with a 50mm cog-drive system and a high-capacity air-to-air Charge Cooler. As a true tuner kit, it does not include fuel injectors or ECU programming, making it the correct foundation for built engines, race vehicles, and four-digit horsepower targets.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi-Trim is Vortech's highest-output centrifugal supercharger, designed specifically for high-boost racing environments. Its advanced impeller and housing geometry were developed in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell, delivering massive airflow while maintaining efficiency and durability at extreme pressure ratios.
50mm Cog-Drive Advantage
The included 50mm cog-drive system eliminates belt slip under extreme boost, ensuring precise supercharger speed control at elevated RPM. This setup is ideal for aggressive pulley ratios, sustained high-load operation, and race-only applications where traditional belt drives become a limitation.
Power Capability & Intended Use
With proper engine internals, fuel system upgrades, and professional calibration, the V-7 YSi-Trim is capable of supporting approximately 1,200 horsepower. This tuner kit is intended strictly for off-road and competition use and is not designed for emissions-controlled street vehicles.
