The Vortech Superchargers V-7 YSi Tuner Kit (PN 4GE218-150) is engineered for extreme, race-focused builds on 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS models equipped with the 6.2L LS3 (manual) or L99 (automatic). Finished in a durable satin configuration, this tuner kit is intended for high-boost, high-RPM applications where belt slip must be eliminated and absolute airflow capacity is required.
This system centers around Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi-Trim centrifugal supercharger paired with a 50mm cog-drive system and a high-capacity air-to-air Charge Cooler. As a true tuner kit, it does not include fuel injectors or ECU programming, making it the correct foundation for fully built engines, competition vehicles, and four-digit horsepower goals.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi-Trim is Vortech's highest-output centrifugal supercharger, designed specifically for high-boost racing environments. Its advanced impeller and housing geometry were developed in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell, delivering massive airflow with excellent efficiency at extreme pressure ratios.
This supercharger platform is widely used in competitive drag racing, standing-mile events, and extreme street/strip builds where durability, airflow, and boost control are critical.
Cog-Drive Advantage
The included 50mm cog-drive system completely eliminates belt slip under high boost, ensuring precise supercharger speed control at elevated RPM and boost levels. This makes the system ideal for aggressive pulley ratios and sustained high-load operation where traditional belt drives can become a limiting factor.
Power Capability & Intended Use
With appropriate internal engine upgrades, fuel system support, and professional calibration, the V-7 YSi-Trim is capable of supporting approximately 1,200 horsepower. This tuner kit is designed strictly for off-road and competition use and is not intended for emissions-controlled street vehicles.
