The Vortech V-7 YSi GM LS-Swap Gen 5 Camaro Based Tuner Kit (PN 4GE218-140) is a driver-side-mounted, race-oriented supercharger system engineered for high-horsepower LS swap applications utilizing the Gen 5 Camaro SS front engine accessory drive (FEAD). Finished in durable satin, this tuner kit pairs Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi-Trim centrifugal supercharger with a 50mm cog drive to deliver maximum belt grip and stability in extreme power environments.
This is a universal LS-swap platform intended for experienced builders who want full control over inlet, discharge, bypass, and charge-cooling layout. Because of its universal design, several airflow and fuel components are installer-supplied, allowing precise tailoring to chassis packaging, power goals, and intended use.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi-Trim represents Vortech's highest-flow centrifugal supercharger, developed for sustained high-RPM operation and extreme airflow demand. This race-proven unit is commonly selected for drag racing, roll racing, drifting, and maximum-effort street builds where durability and top-end power are critical.
This configuration features clockwise (CW) rotation with a straight discharge, optimized for driver-side LS-swap installations based on the Gen 5 Camaro FEAD layout.
LS-Swap / Gen 5 Camaro FEAD Configuration
This system is based on the 2010 Camaro SS damper and accessory FEAD configuration. When used with non-Camaro accessory drives, custom spacing may be required. The included stand-alone supercharger drive assembly provides consistent alignment and dependable power transfer at high RPM.
