The Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim GM LS-Swap Gen 5 Camaro-Based Tuner Kit (PN 4GE218-130) is a universal, high-horsepower supercharger solution engineered for GM LS engine swap applications utilizing a Gen 5 Camaro SS-style front engine accessory drive (FEAD). Designed for serious custom builds, this driver-side-mounted system delivers Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi-Trim centrifugal supercharger paired with a robust 10-rib serpentine drive system to support extreme power levels.
This tuner kit is intended for race and high-output custom street applications where the installer controls fueling, calibration, air inlet, discharge routing, and charge cooling strategy. With proper engine preparation and supporting components, the V-7 YSi-Trim is capable of supporting 1,200+ horsepower.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi-Trim represents the highest-output centrifugal supercharger in Vortech's lineup. Engineered for maximum airflow and high boost capability, the YSi-Trim is purpose-built for high-RPM, high-horsepower LS combinations that demand extreme compressor efficiency and durability.
This head unit features clockwise rotation, a straight discharge configuration, and is optimized for aggressive pulley combinations commonly used in competition and high-boost environments.
Gen 5 Camaro FEAD-Based LS-Swap Design
This LS-Swap Series tuner kit is based on the 2010 Camaro SS FEAD configuration and mounts the supercharger on the driver side of the engine. The system includes dedicated mounting and drive components designed to integrate with Camaro-style accessory layouts.
Custom spacing or adaptation may be required when pairing this system with non-Camaro FEAD components due to the universal nature of the kit.
10-Rib Serpentine Drive System
The included 10-rib serpentine drive system is engineered to provide superior belt grip and stability for high-horsepower LS applications. The drive assembly includes an SFI-approved race-spec steel replacement damper pulley and a hard-anodized billet aluminum supercharger drive crank pulley, delivering durability and consistent belt control under load.
