This system replaces the street-oriented V-3 platform with Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi-Trim centrifugal supercharger, paired with a 10-rib drive system and a high-capacity air-to-air Charge Cooler. As a tuner kit, it does not include fuel injectors or ECU programming, making it the correct choice for competition vehicles, boosted engine builds, and customers targeting four-digit horsepower potential.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi-Trim is Vortech's highest-output centrifugal supercharger, engineered for serious racing and high-boost applications. Utilizing a technologically advanced impeller and housing design developed in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell, the YSi delivers massive airflow while maintaining excellent efficiency at elevated boost levels.
This supercharger platform is widely used in competitive drag racing, standing-mile, and high-horsepower street builds where durability, airflow, and boost stability are critical.

Note: While the included Maxflow Race bypass valve is suitable for baseline configurations, Vortech recommends upgrading to a Maxflow BV57 valve when increasing boost levels or changing pulley combinations.
