Featuring Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi-Trim centrifugal supercharger in a polished finish, this universal tuner kit is designed for serious high-horsepower street/strip and competition applications where maximum airflow and durability are required.
This configuration utilizes a 50mm cog-capable supercharger drive system and robust billet mounting architecture, making it ideal for aggressive boost levels and high-RPM operation. Depending on boost, engine efficiency, and supporting modifications, users can expect horsepower gains ranging from approximately 30% to over 75%.
V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-7 YSi-Trim is Vortech's highest-flow centrifugal supercharger, developed for extreme horsepower applications. Designed for engines with significant airflow demands, the YSi features race-proven internal components and a high-efficiency compressor design capable of supporting very high boost levels when properly configured.
This kit includes a 3.33" supercharger pulley, producing approximately 5-6 psi at 5,000 RPM on a mildly modified 454 cubic-inch Big Block Chevrolet. Actual boost will vary based on engine displacement, volumetric efficiency, pulley selection, and drive configuration.
