The Vortech Superchargers V-7 YSi Low-Mount Complete System (PN 4GA218-048) is a high-output, carbureted Big Block Chevy supercharger solution built for aggressive street/strip and competition applications. Finished in a show-quality polished configuration, this system pairs Vortech's flagship V-7 YSi centrifugal supercharger with a 10-rib serpentine drive and rigid low-mount bracketry to deliver dependable belt control and scalable power.
This is a universal-style complete system intended for vehicles running carbureted big block Chevrolet engines. Fuel delivery components are intentionally left to the installer, allowing the system to be tailored precisely to the engine combination and performance goals.
Verified & Potential Fitment Applications
This kit has been verified to fit 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle and Malibu models equipped with a cowl induction hood. Depending on intake manifold choice, minor bottom-side hood support modifications may be required.
The system may fit other Big Block Chevy platforms; however, those applications have not been confirmed and should be evaluated individually.
Performance Expectations
Depending on boost level, engine displacement, and volumetric efficiency, this system is capable of delivering approximately 30-75%+ horsepower gains. With the supplied pulley ratio, it produces approximately 5-6 PSI at 5,000 RPM on a mildly modified 454 cubic-inch Big Block Chevy.

Fuel System Requirements

Optional fuel line kits are available separately and include custom-bent stainless steel lines, billet -8 bulkhead adapters with fuel pressure ports, junction tees, swivel hose ends, and USCG-approved fuel hose.
