The Vortech Superchargers V-2 Si-Trim Standard Output Tuner System (PN 4FU218-730SQ) is engineered for 2005-2009 Ford Mustang V6 models equipped with the 4.0L engine. Finished in a durable satin coating, this system delivers Vortech's proven centrifugal supercharger technology in a flexible tuner configuration designed for custom fueling and calibration strategies.
This is a true tuner system, supplied without fuel system upgrades or ECM reprogramming. It is ideal for racers, professional tuners, or builders running aftermarket engine management who want complete control over fuel delivery, boost strategy, and tuning.
Standard Output Performance Overview
The 2005-2009 Mustang V6 leaves the factory with approximately 210 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque. In Standard Output form, this Vortech supercharger system can safely increase output to approximately 290 horsepower and 294 lb-ft of torque, depending on engine condition and tuning.
While this Standard Output tuner configuration does not include a Charge Cooler, Vortech also offers High Output, air-to-water Charge-Cooled systems capable of increasing horsepower from 210 to 330 and torque from 240 lb-ft to 337 lb-ft for more aggressive builds.
V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-2 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger uses Vortech's technologically advanced, high-efficiency impeller and compressor housing developed in Vortech's supercharger test cell. A gear-driven design with SQ technology delivers nearly silent operation with excellent durability.
