The Vortech Superchargers V-2 Si-Trim High Output Complete System (PN 4FU218-620SQ) is a fully calibrated, 50-state emissions-legal supercharger system designed for 2005-2006 Ford Mustang V6 models equipped with the 4.0L engine. Finished in a durable satin coating, this complete system delivers a substantial performance increase while maintaining factory-level drivability and reliability.
In High Output configuration, this air-to-water Charge-Cooled system increases output from a stock 210 horsepower to 330 horsepower and torque from 240 lb-ft to 337 lb-ft at the factory redline, using 10 PSI of boost on 91-octane fuel. The system is fully compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions.
V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-2 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger utilizes Vortech's ultra-efficient compressor design developed in their supercharger test cell. With a peak efficiency of up to 78% (SAE J1723 standard), the Si-Trim generates less heat, reduces parasitic loss, and produces more net power compared to lower-efficiency forced-induction systems.
As an engine oil-fed design, the V-2 Si-Trim is especially well suited for sustained boost conditions, providing excellent lubrication and cooling under continuous load.
