The Vortech Superchargers V-2 Ti-Trim Tuner Kit (PN 4FU218-130TSQ) is engineered for 2007-2009 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with the 4.6L 3-Valve V8. This configuration features Vortech's heavy-duty V-2 Ti-Trim centrifugal supercharger finished in a durable satin coating, designed for high-stress, high-boost applications where durability and sustained performance are critical.
This is a true tuner kit, supplied without a Charge Cooler, without fuel system upgrades, and without ECM calibration. It is intended strictly for off-road and competition use, allowing experienced tuners to fully customize fueling, boost levels, and engine management.
V-2 Ti-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-2 Ti-Trim is Vortech's heavy-duty centrifugal supercharger option, engineered for aggressive builds that see extended boost and continuous high-load operation. Compared to Si-Trim models, the Ti-Trim features upgraded internal components for increased strength and longevity under extreme conditions.
As an oil-fed supercharger, the V-2 Ti-Trim shares the engine's lubrication system, providing excellent oil control and cooling. This design also supports optional oil cooling or filtration upgrades for demanding race environments.
Tuner Kit Configuration Explained
Vortech tuner kits include the complete supercharger system hardware found in complete systems, but intentionally omit fuel injectors, fuel pumps, and ECU programming. This allows professional tuners and racers to select their preferred fuel system components and custom calibrations.
For reference, High Output complete systems for earlier 4.6L 3V Mustang GT applications are capable of boosting stock engines to approximately 462 horsepower when fully equipped and properly calibrated.
