This system is capable of supporting up to approximately 725 horsepower depending on engine modifications and tuning. Complete systems for this application have been discontinued, making this tuner kit the primary solution for high-performance Cobra builds that demand flexibility beyond factory-style fuel and tuning limitations.
V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology
The system is centered around Vortech's V-2 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger, featuring a high-efficiency impeller and housing developed in Vortech's supercharger test cell. Equipped with SQ (Super Quiet) gear-drive technology, the V-2 Si-Trim provides smooth, quiet operation with excellent durability under sustained boost.
For applications such as road racing or extended boost operation, the V-2 series shares the engine's oiling system, allowing the use of additional oil cooling or filtration if desired.
