The 2018+ 5.0L Mustang GT platform utilizes Vortechs V-3 JT-Trim centrifugal supercharger. Continued development in Vortechs lab resulted in the V-3 JT-Trim, incorporating a patented oil control system and a state-of-the-art centrifugal compressor stage engineered to deliver outstanding airflow, efficiency, and durability.
With an industry-leading 76% adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723), the V-3 JT-Trim generates less heat, reduces drive power requirements, and produces more usable horsepower. Lower operating temperatures also contribute to improved long-term reliability under demanding performance conditions.
Tuner Kit Configuration
This system is supplied as a tuner kit intended for higher-horsepower, custom-tuned installations. Tuner kits do not include a fuel pump, fuel injectors, or ECU programmer. Custom calibration and required fuel system components must be supplied by the installer.
The V-3 JT-Trim supercharger included with this kit is capable of supporting up to 1,000 horsepower on modified vehicles. Additional tuner kit configurations are available with larger superchargers for extreme high-horsepower racing applications.
