Continued development in Vortech's engineering lab resulted in the V-3 Si, where the "i" stands for improved. Featuring a patented oil control system and a state-of-the-art centrifugal compressor stage, the V-3 Si achieves industry-leading 78% adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723). Higher efficiency reduces heat generation, lowers parasitic drive loss, produces more usable net power, and improves durability. Vortech supercharger systems also weigh significantly less than many competing designs.
Air-to-Air Charge Cooling Advantages
This tuner kit includes a high-flow air-to-air charge cooler designed to keep intake air temperatures stable under boost. Cooler, denser air improves power consistency, increases detonation resistance, and supports higher boost levels on properly modified engines.
