The 2011-2014 Ford Mustang 5.0L GT utilizes Vortech's advanced V-3 Si-Trim supercharger, refined through continued development in Vortech's lab. The "Si" designation represents an improved design featuring a patented oil control system and a state-of-the-art centrifugal compressor stage that delivers exceptional efficiency, durability, and power potential.
With an industry-leading 78% adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723), the V-3 Si-Trim generates less heat, requires less drive power, and produces more usable horsepower. Reduced heat improves long-term durability, while Vortech centrifugal supercharger systems weigh less than half of many competing designs.
Note: This supercharger system will not clear fog lights on California Special models. Fog lights must be removed or custom discharge tubing must be fabricated.
Tuner Kit Configuration
This is a tuner kit intended for higher-horsepower, custom-tuned installations. Tuner kits do not include fuel enrichment components or an ECU programmer. Custom calibration and required fuel system components must be supplied by the installer.
The V-3 Si-Trim supercharger included with this tuner kit is capable of supporting up to 775 horsepower on modified vehicles. Optional tuner kit configurations are also available with the V-2 Ti-Trim (up to 950 HP) or the V-7 JT-Trim (up to 1,000 HP) for high-performance racing applications.
