The Vortech 8-Rib Drive Upgrade (PN 4FQ116-009) is engineered for 2018-2020 Ford Mustang GT owners looking to increase boost and horsepower with improved belt grip and stability. By converting to an 8-rib drive system, this upgrade delivers more belt contact area for maximum traction - helping eliminate belt slip at higher power levels.
This package is compatible with all 2018-2020 Vortech and Paxton Mustang GT supercharger systems and retains the factory automatic belt tensioner for OE-like operation and reliability.

Important Notes & Requirements

- Contact Vortech Tech Support for impeller speed calculations if needed
- This upgrade is not emissions legal for street use
- A Vortech BV-57 or Mondo compressor bypass valve is required for applications producing more than 13 psig
