The Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Complete Supercharger System (PN 4FL218-070L) is engineered specifically for the 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt equipped with the 4.6L 2V engine. This complete, street-focused system delivers a safe and dramatic performance increase while maintaining factory-like drivability and reliability. In standard form, this non-charge-cooled configuration increases output from 265 horsepower to 390 horsepower and boosts torque from 305 lb-ft to 396 lb-ft.
Powered by Vortech's advanced V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger, this system is designed as a true bolt-on solution for stock vehicles and includes all required components for a clean, OEM-style installation.
V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology
The V-3 Si-Trim supercharger utilizes Vortech's latest SQ (Super Quiet) gear-driven technology combined with a high-efficiency impeller and compressor housing developed in Vortech's supercharger test cell. This design delivers excellent airflow and efficiency while keeping noise levels low for refined street use.
Unlike earlier oil-fed designs, the V-3 is self-lubricating and does not require engine oil feed or drain lines, simplifying installation and long-term maintenance.

Note: Charge-cooled systems require a battery relocation kit (PN 8N150-010), sold separately.

Tuning & Vehicle Requirements
This supercharger system is designed for stock engine configurations. Vortech will only provide tuning support for vehicles equipped with a stock engine and either a stock exhaust or most aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems.
Vehicles equipped with aftermarket throttle bodies, cold air intakes, headers, off-road mid-pipes, or other engine modifications will require custom tuning. Additionally, not all ECU box codes are supported. Vehicles with ECU codes such as RKN, MDE, PTP, or JRX are not supported by Vortech's supplied tune. We strongly recommend verifying ECU box code compatibility prior to purchase.
