The Vortech Supercharging System with V-3 Si-Trim and integrated charge cooler (PN 4FL218-030L) is a complete, CARB-approved high-output centrifugal supercharger system engineered specifically for the 1999 Ford Mustang GT equipped with the 4.6L 2-valve engine. Finished in a durable satin coating, this system combines Vortech's proven V-3 Si-Trim supercharger with an air-to-water, dual-pass charge cooling system for maximum power potential and thermal control.

This charge-cooled configuration represents Vortech's high-output system. With increased boost and efficient inlet air temperature management, output increases from 260 horsepower to 402 horsepower and torque from 302 lb-ft to 400 lb-ft on a stock engine, while maintaining street-friendly drivability.

V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology

The V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger features Vortech's advanced impeller and housing design developed in their in-house supercharger test cell. Unlike engine oil-fed units, the V-3 utilizes self-contained internal lubrication, eliminating oil feed and drain lines while reducing installation complexity and ongoing maintenance.

Integrated Air-to-Water Charge Cooling

Note: Charge-cooled systems require a battery relocation kit (PN 8N150-010, sold separately).

Fuel Management & System Integration

This complete supercharging system includes a fuel management upgrade intended for stock engine configurations. Vortech supplies components and calibration designed for factory engines running stock exhaust systems or most aftermarket cat-back exhausts.

Important: Vortech does not provide tuning for vehicles equipped with aftermarket throttle bodies, cold air intakes, headers, off-road mid-pipes, or other engine modifications. Modified vehicles will require custom tuning, and not all ECU box codes are supported.
