Vortech Supercharging System w/ V-2 Si-Trim - Polished (1999 Mustang GT 4.6L 2V) 4FL218-018SQ

Polished V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger System for 1999 Mustang GT 4.6L 2V

The Vortech Supercharging System with V-2 Si-Trim (PN 4FL218-018SQ) is a complete, CARB-approved centrifugal supercharger system engineered specifically for the 1999 Ford Mustang GT equipped with the 4.6L 2-valve engine. Featuring a show-quality polished finish, this system delivers proven Vortech performance while retaining excellent drivability, durability, and emissions compliance.

On a stock Mustang GT, this system safely increases output from 260 horsepower to 364 horsepower and torque from 302 lb-ft to 371 lb-ft. Vortech's centrifugal boost curve provides smooth, linear power that builds with RPM - ideal for street-driven modular Mustangs.

V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology

The V-2 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger is an engine oil-fed unit that utilizes Vortech's SQ (Super Quiet) gear-driven technology for nearly silent operation and long-term reliability. The high-efficiency impeller and housing design, developed in Vortech's supercharger test cell, delivers strong airflow with reduced heat generation.

Integrated oil feed and drain assemblies provide consistent lubrication and cooling under sustained boost, making the V-2 Si-Trim a proven choice for reliable street performance.

Fuel Management & System Integration

This complete system includes a fuel management upgrade designed specifically for stock engine configurations. Vortech supplies calibration and components intended for factory engines using stock exhaust systems or most aftermarket cat-back exhausts.

Important: Vortech does not provide tuning for vehicles equipped with aftermarket throttle bodies, cold air intakes, headers, off-road mid-pipes, or other engine modifications. Modified vehicles will require custom tuning, and not all ECU box codes are supported.

High Output System Option

Vortech also offers a high-output supercharger system featuring a fully integrated air-to-water, dual-pass charge cooler. High-output systems increase horsepower from 260 to 402 and torque from 302 lb-ft to 400 lb-ft, while maintaining a maintenance-free charge cooling design.

Charge-cooled systems require a battery relocation kit (PN 8N150-010, sold separately).
