Vortech Supercharging System w/ V-2 Si-Trim - Satin (1999 Mustang GT 4.6L 2V) 4FL218-010SQ

V-2 Si-Trim Satin Supercharger System for 1999 Mustang GT 4.6L 2V

The Vortech Supercharging System with V-2 Si-Trim (PN 4FL218-010SQ) is a complete, CARB-approved centrifugal supercharger system engineered specifically for the 1999 Ford Mustang GT equipped with the 4.6L 2-valve engine. Featuring a durable satin-finish V-2 Si-Trim supercharger, this system delivers proven power gains while retaining excellent street manners and long-term reliability.

On a stock 4.6L 2V Mustang GT, this system safely increases output from 260 horsepower to 364 horsepower and torque from 302 lb-ft to 371 lb-ft. Vortech's centrifugal design provides smooth, linear boost that builds with RPM - ideal for street-driven Mustangs that demand reliable, repeatable performance.

V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Technology

The V-2 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger is an engine oil-fed unit that utilizes Vortech's SQ (Super Quiet) gear-driven technology for nearly silent operation and exceptional durability. Developed using Vortech's advanced supercharger test cell, the high-efficiency impeller and housing design deliver strong airflow with reduced heat generation.

Oil feed and drain assemblies provide consistent lubrication and cooling for the supercharger, even under sustained boost conditions, making the V-2 Si-Trim a trusted choice for long-term street performance.

Fuel Management & System Integration

This complete supercharging system includes a fuel management upgrade designed for stock engine configurations. Vortech supplies components and calibration intended for vehicles retaining factory engines with stock exhaust systems or most aftermarket cat-back exhausts.

Important: Vortech does not provide tuning for vehicles with additional engine modifications such as aftermarket throttle bodies, cold air intakes, headers, or off-road mid-pipes. Modified vehicles will require custom tuning, and not all ECU box codes are supported.

High Output System Option

Vortech also offers a high-output supercharger system configuration that incorporates a fully integrated air-to-water, dual-pass charge cooler. High-output systems increase horsepower from 260 to 402 and torque from 302 lb-ft to 400 lb-ft, while maintaining a maintenance-free charge cooling design.

Charge-cooled systems require a battery relocation kit (PN 8N150-010, sold separately).
