V-30 128A Extreme-Flow Supercharger for Maximum Horsepower Race Builds
The Vortech V-30 128A Supercharger Head Unit is the highest-capacity compressor in the V-30 family, engineered for extreme racing applications where massive airflow, very high boost capability, and durability under severe conditions are mandatory. Developed as a clean-sheet replacement for the previous V-28 128, the 128A is intended for serious competition engines operating far beyond the 1,000 horsepower level.
At the heart of the V-30 128A is a high-efficiency 5-axis CNC-machined billet impeller combined with a high-diffusion compressor housing, both developed and validated in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell. This advanced aerodynamic package allows the 128A to deliver enormous airflow while maintaining strong efficiency at extreme boost pressures.
The V-30 platform incorporates a patented impeller shaft support system engineered to withstand the extreme shaft speeds and acceleration loads associated with high-horsepower drag racing and other severe competition environments. All V-30 superchargers share a 4.21:1 internal step-up ratio and are engine oil lubricated, though auxiliary oiling systems can be fabricated if required. The modular V-30 architecture allows multiple compressor stages to utilize the same robust core design.
With the ability to support 50+ PSI and massive airflow, the V-30 128A is designed for top-tier drag racing, outlaw, and other extreme motorsports applications where peak power and sustained durability directly impact ET and trap speed.
