The Vortech Superchargers V-30 131B Head Unit (PN 2G468-014) is a next-generation centrifugal supercharger engineered specifically for extreme high-horsepower racing environments. Featuring a straight discharge configuration, clockwise (CW) rotation, and a durable black finish, the 131B represents the largest and most advanced compressor stage ever produced in the V-20 or V-30 product lines.
This is a clean-sheet compressor design developed to meet the demands of racers targeting 1,000+ horsepower and well beyond, including professional drag racing and offshore marine competition.
Advanced V-30 Compressor Technology
The V-30 131B incorporates a technologically advanced, 5-axis machined billet impeller paired with a high-diffusion compressor housing. This design was developed and validated in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell to optimize efficiency, airflow, and durability at extreme operating speeds.
A patented impeller shaft support system provides exceptional strength to withstand the high shaft speeds and acceleration forces encountered in elite drag racing while also offering the durability required for offshore marine racing environments.
Extreme Power Capability
The V-30 131B is designed to support 45+ PSI in extreme drag racing applications and is recommended for racers targeting 5-second elapsed times in Pro-Mod and Limited Drag Radial classes.
While other superchargers may produce similar boost levels, the 131B achieves this with lower discharge temperatures, reduced parasitic loss, and higher overall efficiency, allowing for greater power potential and improved track performance.
