The Vortech V-30 94A Supercharger Head Unit is the next evolution in centrifugal compressor development, engineered to replace the outgoing V-27 YSi-B. Built for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme airflow requirements, the V-30 94A delivers race-proven performance with advanced compressor technology designed to thrive in sustained high-boost environments.
At the core of the V-30 94A is a high-efficiency, 5-axis CNC-machined billet impeller paired with a high-diffusion compressor housing, both developed and validated in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell. This architecture provides exceptional airflow capability, stable boost delivery, and outstanding efficiency at extreme shaft speeds.
The V-30 Series is purpose-built for extreme racing applications and features Vortech's exclusive D-port volute to improve discharge efficiency and airflow stability. Due to the massive airflow capability of the V-30 platform, use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger is required to properly manage discharge flow. All V-30 superchargers share a 4.21:1 internal step-up ratio and are engine oil lubricated, though custom auxiliary oiling systems may be fabricated if required.
This configuration is supplied in a heavy-duty (H/D) setup featuring high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings, making it ideal for sustained high-RPM race use. The H/D configuration is also compatible with cog pulley and Gilmer-style drive systems, ensuring reliability in demanding competition environments.
