The Vortech V-7 Heavy Duty YSi-Trim Supercharger Head Unit delivers true "large blower" performance in a more compact package that fits most existing Vortech mounting bracketry. Engineered for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme airflow and boost demands, the V-7 YSi-Trim is a proven choice for serious street, strip, and race applications.
This Heavy Duty (H/D) YSi-Trim configuration combines Vortech's advanced centrifugal compressor technology with race-proven durability. All V-7 units feature Vortech's exclusive D-port volute for improved efficiency at high flow rates and require the use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to properly manage the massive discharge airflow. The H/D gearcase is equipped with high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings and is fully compatible with cog pulley / Gilmer-style drive systems.
