The Vortech V-7 YSi-B Trim Heavy Duty Supercharger Head Unit is the next step in centrifugal compressor development, engineered for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme CFM and boost demands. At the core of the YSi-B Trim is a technologically advanced, high-efficiency 5-axis CNC-machined billet impeller paired with a high-diffusion housing, developed and validated in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell.
The V-7 Series delivers true large-blower performance in a compact package that fits most existing Vortech mounting bracketry. This Heavy Duty (H/D) configuration features high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings for sustained high-RPM durability and is fully compatible with cog pulley / Gilmer-style drive systems. All V-7 units utilize Vortech's exclusive D-port volute for improved efficiency at extreme airflow levels and require a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to properly manage discharge flow.
