This configuration features clockwise (CW) rotation with mounting ears and a straight discharge outlet, making it ideal for high-output installations requiring direct discharge routing and rigid mounting.
At the heart of the YSi-B Trim is a technologically advanced, high-efficiency 5-axis machined billet impeller paired with a high-diffusion housing, both developed and validated in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell. This design delivers exceptional airflow capability while maintaining industry-leading efficiency at extreme boost levels.
V-7 YSi-B Trim Heavy Duty Technology
The V-7 Series blends race-proven durability with advanced compressor aerodynamics. All V-7 units feature Vortech's exclusive D-port volute to improve efficiency under high airflow demands. The Heavy Duty (H/D) configuration incorporates high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings, making this head unit ideal for sustained high-RPM and competition use.
This supercharger is compatible with cog pulley / Gilmer-style drive systems and requires a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to properly manage the extreme discharge flow generated at high boost levels.
