Satin V-7 H/D JT-B Centrifugal Supercharger for Extreme Power Builds
The Vortech V-7 Heavy Duty JT-B Supercharger Head Unit (PN 2A158-090) is purpose-built for high-output, heavily modified applications with extreme airflow and boost requirements. Developed as the next evolution in compressor design, the V-7 platform features a 5-axis CNC-machined billet impeller and a high-diffusion housing refined in Vortech's SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test cell for exceptional efficiency and top-end capability.
This configuration utilizes clockwise (CW) rotation, a straight discharge, and a durable satin finish, making it ideal for race-oriented builds where consistent performance under sustained boost is critical.
Advanced V-7 Series Supercharger Technology
The V-7 Series blends Vortech's latest aerodynamic advancements with proven race durability. Designed to fit most existing Vortech mounting bracketry, the V-7 supports vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme CFM and boost demands. All V-7 units incorporate Vortech's exclusive D-port volute to enhance discharge efficiency and maintain airflow stability at elevated pressure ratios.
Due to its airflow capacity, the V-7 requires a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to properly manage compressor discharge flow.
Heavy Duty (H/D) Race Configuration
This Heavy Duty (H/D) JT-B configuration is equipped with high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings, making it well suited for race applications and continuous high-RPM operation. The H/D design is also compatible with cog pulley / Gilmer-style drive systems, ensuring reliable power transmission in extreme boost environments.
