The Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim Heavy Duty Supercharger Head Unit (PN 2A158-074) delivers true "large blower" performance in a compact package that fits most existing Vortech bracketry. Engineered for highly modified engines with extreme airflow and boost demands, the V-7 YSi-Trim is a proven solution for aggressive street/strip and race-focused builds.
This configuration features a curved discharge outlet with clockwise (CW) rotation and a durable black finish, providing flexible discharge routing while maintaining compatibility with a wide range of Vortech mounting systems.
V-7 YSi-Trim Heavy Duty Technology
The V-7 Series combines advanced compressor technology with race-proven durability. All V-7 units feature Vortech's exclusive D-port volute, which improves airflow efficiency at high boost levels. The Heavy Duty (H/D) configuration incorporates high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings, making it ideal for sustained high-RPM and race applications.
This head unit is compatible with cog pulley / Gilmer-style drive systems and requires the use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to properly manage discharge flow demands.
