UPR 8.8" Rear End Braces - 2024 Aircraft Aluminum (2024-01) - 1979–2004 Mustang V8 (Solid Axle)
Put an end to axle tube flex and housing movement with UPR’s Fully Adjustable 8.8" Rear End Braces. Designed for 1979–2004 Mustangs equipped with a solid 8.8" rear end, this brace system ties the axle tubes to the center section to strengthen and stabilize the factory housing—ideal for hard launches, sticky tires, and higher horsepower setups.
These adjustable bars use hex billet 2024 aircraft aluminum for high yield strength and excellent elasticity, offering steel-like strength characteristics with lightweight performance. Built with quality heim joints and heavy-duty hardware, the system bolts to the center section and uses weld-on tabs at the axle tubes for a secure, race-proven connection. Finished in black anodizing with a high-quality machined look, it’s a functional upgrade that also cleans up the undercar appearance.
