The UPR Products 8.8 Adjustable Billet Rear Shock Mount Brackets are designed to give 1979–2004 Mustang owners precise rear ride height adjustment without altering spring preload or limiting shock travel. Featuring a 5-way adjustable lower shock mount, this system allows you to fine-tune suspension geometry while extending usable shock travel—ideal for cars where the rear shock is bottoming out or operating outside its optimal range.

CNC Billet Strength with Smart Engineering

Manufactured from CNC-machined 7075 billet aluminum, these brackets eliminate the weak factory lower shock mounts and replace them with a rigid, high-strength solution built for performance driving. The black anodized finish provides long-term corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, performance-oriented appearance. Each bracket allows shock position adjustment up to 1.5 inches above or below the factory mounting location, giving you real control over ride height and suspension function.

Designed for Coilover & Performance Shock Applications

These adjustable shock brackets are specifically designed for eyelet-style coilover shocks that allow the shock to pivot as the mounting position moves outward approximately 1 inch. Compatible shock brands include Viking, AFCO, QA1, and Strange (eyelet-style only). This makes the kit a perfect upgrade for UPR and Viking coilover setups and an excellent way to maximize suspension travel in performance-focused builds.

Fast Installation with Complete Hardware

Sold as a pair and including Grade 8 mounting hardware, this kit installs in 30 minutes or less using basic hand tools. It is a direct bolt-on upgrade for 8.8 rear axles and is commonly used in conjunction with UPR and Viking coilover kits for street, strip, autocross, and drag racing applications.
