The Paxton NOVI 2200SL Supercharger Tuner Kit is designed for enthusiasts seeking maximum performance and tuning flexibility for the 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. This system utilizes Paxton's ultra-efficient NOVI 2200SL centrifugal supercharger paired with a high-flow air-to-air charge cooler.
The S550 Mustang system uses Paxton's NOVI 2200SL supercharger, developed through continued refinement in the Paxton lab. Featuring a patented oil control system and state-of-the-art centrifugal compressor stage, the NOVI 2200SL delivers outstanding performance and durability while weighing less than half of low-tech competing brands.
Advanced Supercharger Technology
The NOVI 2200SL achieves an industry-leading 76% adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723 standard). Higher efficiency means less heat generation, reduced drive power requirements, and greater net power output. Lower operating temperatures also translate into improved durability and consistency under high-load conditions.
Centrifugal superchargers easily generate higher airflow and pressure than roots-style blowers while remaining significantly more efficient. Dollar for dollar, Paxton and Vortech supercharger systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other performance upgrade, and when driven normally, fuel economy often increases rather than decreases.
Tuner Kit Configuration
This is a Tuner Kit and does not include a fuel pump, fuel injectors, or ECU programmer. Custom calibration and supporting fuel system upgrades are required and must be supplied by the installer.
The NOVI 2200SL supercharger included in this tuner kit is capable of supporting up to 950 horsepower on modified vehicles. For extreme racing applications, tuner kits are also available with higher-output supercharger options.
