The Paxton NOVI 2200 High Output Supercharger System is a complete, fully calibrated bolt-on power solution for the 2007-2008 Mustang GT 4.6L 3V. With documented gains of up to 170 horsepower on 2005-2008 models and up to 183 horsepower on 2010 models, Paxton's complete Mustang supercharging systems are widely regarded as the ultimate street-focused forced-induction upgrade.
At the heart of the system is the NOVI 2200 gear-driven centrifugal supercharger, paired with an integrated air-to-air charge cooler that delivers cooler, denser intake air for consistent power on demand. This High Output configuration produces 10 psi of boost at factory redline, elevating a stock 4.6L 3V Mustang GT to 470 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque using CA 91-octane fuel.
Continued development in Paxton's test lab produced ultra-efficient NOVI compressor designs capable of achieving an industry-leading 75-78% peak adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723 standard). Higher efficiency reduces heat generation, lowers drive power requirements, and delivers more net horsepower to the wheels. Reduced heat also improves durability under sustained boost conditions.
