High Output Paxton NOVI 2200SL Supercharger System for S197 Mustang GT
The Paxton NOVI 2200SL High Output complete supercharger system is engineered for the 2005-2006 4.6L 3V Mustang GT and is compatible with both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. This fully calibrated system features the NOVI 2200SL centrifugal supercharger paired with an air-to-air charge cooler to deliver strong, repeatable power with excellent thermal efficiency.
In High Output form, this system boosts a stock 4.6L Mustang GT to 470 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque with 10 PSI of boost at factory redline using CA 91-octane fuel.
Paxton NOVI SL Supercharger Technology
The 4.6L 3V Mustang GT system utilizes Paxton's current-generation NOVI 1200SL and NOVI 2200SL superchargers. Continued development in Vortech's test lab resulted in these advanced centrifugal compressors, delivering an industry-leading 75-78% adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723).
High efficiency reduces heat generation, lowers parasitic load, and increases net power output. The NOVI 2200SL features a patented oil control system and a state-of-the-art compressor stage designed for durability under sustained boost conditions, while weighing significantly less than many competing supercharger systems.
