The Paxton NOVI 1200 Supercharger System - Passenger Side Mount in polished finish delivers authentic, period-correct forced induction for classic carbureted Ford Mustangs. Inspired by the legendary Paxton-supercharged Shelby GT-350s of the 1960s, this system is engineered to fit under the stock hood while delivering substantial, reliable horsepower gains.
Depending on engine configuration and supporting modifications, this system can produce 30% to more than 75% horsepower increases. The included NOVI 1200 centrifugal supercharger also allows future upgrades to higher-output Paxton units such as the NOVI 1500.
NOVI 1200 Centrifugal Supercharger Performance
The gear-driven NOVI 1200 centrifugal supercharger delivers smooth, linear boost ideal for street-driven classic builds. A 3.7-inch 8-rib supercharger pulley generates approximately 7.5 PSI at 5,500 RPM on a stock V8 engine, offering strong top-end power without sacrificing drivability or longevity.
Passenger Side Mount Configuration
This system features a passenger-side supercharger mounting layout, allowing retention of factory power steering. For certain applications, battery relocation may be required to ensure proper clearance, particularly on later-model passenger-side configurations.
Carburetor Enclosure & Fuel System Support
A cast aluminum carburetor enclosure is included to properly pressurize the carburetor float bowls and throttle shafts, ensuring stable air/fuel ratios under boost. Supported carburetors include:
- Holley 4150 series
- Quick Fuel Q-750 BAN
- Demon 650 MD 4-barrel
Carburetors must use mechanical secondaries, .120 needle and seat assemblies, and nitrophyll floats. The enclosure includes front and rear -8 AN fuel inlet ports and multiple pressure/vacuum ports. When using a Holley carburetor, the 8M011-001 air diffuser is recommended.
