The Cortex EBC Base Kit is for those looking to integrate the controller with their existing OEM or aftermarket boost control solenoid and plumbing.  This package includes only the essential items required to install the Cortex EBC, allowing you to source your own preferred parts or continue using your existing components to complete the installation process.

The Cortex EBC Base Kit is compatible with most OEM or aftermarket boost control solenoids including VAG N75/BorgWarner BCSV, GM 3-Port, , Mac 3 or 4-Port, Ingersoll Rand 3 or 4-Port, etc.

The Cortex EBC is the best bang for the buck electronic boost controller available.  An extremely flexible set of open and closed loop boost control parameters combined with powerful configuration and data logging PC software provide the Cortex EBC with the necessary tools to fine-tune every aspect of your boost curve.

Control turbocharger boost based on gear, RPM, vehicle speed, throttle position, or time.  Optimize performance with launch and spool specific boost control parameters.  Protect your engine with a variety fail-safe capabilities.  Save up to 6 unique boost control profiles/presets to the controller and switch between them on the fly.  Use two auxiliary PWM outputs to control water/methanol systems, nitrous systems, or even transbrake bumps.

Laptop Based ConfigurationConfigure all device settings and record/review boost control data with easy to use software that runs on any Windows laptop.

Map Switching: Onboard memory storage for up to six unique boost control profiles/presets.  Switch between pump gas and race gas boost settings on the fly!

Passcode Protection: Prevent unwanted viewing and modification of all software settings with optional passcode protection.

High Resolution Boost Control: Maximize boost control performance using open and closed loop control parameters with up to 64 point resolution.  Possible boost control dimensions include gear, RPM, vehicle speed, throttle position, and time.

Boost control Fail Safes: Multiple fail-safe features allow boost control to be disabled in the event of overboost conditions, lean air/fuel ratios, insufficient fuel ethanol content, or water/methanol system failures.

Boost Scramble Control: Increase boost, decrease boost, or completely disable boost control at the push of a button.  Boost scramble can be activated with the top button of the Cortex EBC display, or by connecting an external button to one of the three available inputs on the device wiring harness.

Launch Boost Control: Override normal boost control while launching to optimize standing start acceleration and consistency.  Launch boost control can be activated based on sensor readings (MPH, RPM, throttle), or by connecting an external button to one of the three available inputs on the device wiring harness.

Spool Boost Control: Override normal boost control under spool conditions to improve turbo response and reach full boost as quickly as possible.

Gear Change Overboost Control: Vehicles equipped with DSG transmissions can override normal boost control during gear changes to minimize boost spikes that can occur when using the AMAX shifting mode.  This feature can also be beneficial for standard automatic transmissions

Water / Methanol Control: Add 2D or 3D progressive control to a water/methanol injection system utilizing a single pump, dual pumps, or a single pump and solenoid.

Nitrous Control: Add 2D or 3D progressive control to a single stage wet or dry nitrous system.

Transbrake Bump Control: Add bump capabilities to automatic transmissions equipped with transbrakes.  Bump time can be adjusted with 1-millisecond resolution.  Bumps can be controlled with the top button on the Cortex EBC display, or by connecting an external button to one of the three inputs on the device wiring harness.

Notes: CAN Interface is REQUIRED for boost by gear on 2018+ models. It is also compatible with 2011-2017 if desired. Speed Sensor Adapter V2 is REQUIRED for boost control based on front wheel speed on 2011+ models.
